25-26 eTwinning: Show your True Colours, unchain the HE-ARTS
Class 1C has been working for the eTwinning project Show your true colours, unchain the HE-ARTS, together with students and teachers form France, Sweden, Turkey, Slovakia, Poland and Greece.
With the project we aim at learning more on emotions , self-acceptance, and citizenship values through art.
Here are some bites from the students' journal on the activities:
Jessica: In alter-ego activity we did a presentation where we told you about us, likes names, nationality, describing our selves by putting an image of us using AI or other apps. We also wrote what we like doing in our free time or about our family. We did this activity in october because our teacher made us do this. When we were in class we saw the projects on the digital board and we told about our alter-ego to our classmates. This project made us feel happy and belles us to know better our classmates.
Agata: This was an individual work. We had to choose our favourite part of the body and describe it and say why we prefer that part. When we chose it we had to put a photo and the description on a padlet with other countries students. In the description we had to say how that part of our body looks like and it’s caratteristics. We also said why we chose it and why we prefer it. This work helped us to find something we like in our body, so with this exercise we could become more confident than we were before.
Eduard: We made eight groups of 3 and one group of four people. After that we chose the part of our school that we liked the most. Then we brought a few cameras to school which we used to take photos of the part that was assigned to each respective group. We uploaded the pictures to the platform “Etwinning Project, Show Your True Colors: Unchain the He-Arts”. Once we finished that little part of our work, we made a description of the image and we shared our high school with students from all of Europe.
Nicole: In a group of 4/5 people we worked on creating a logo for our project “E-twinning”. On the 21st of November we uploaded the logo on Classroom that we wade at home with Canva. Then at School we voted which logo we liked the most from our class. At the end of the voting we found out that the winner in our class was the second logo. We uploaded the winner logo on the “E-twinning” hoping to win. Even if we didn’t win the final logo it was a really nice experience where we could express our creativity and imagination with our classmate, we would really like to do this again
Margherita: On December 19th, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, we had a meeting with two French classes. The first class was from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, and the other was in the other half hour. During this time, we introduced ourselves, talked about what we would do and eat over the Christmas holidays, and talked about our cities and the school, especially the very different school schedules. In fact, during that time, the French students were still at school and had the meeting as a group, while we were all at home, so it was more of an individual thing for us. At the end of the meeting, we decided to take a photo together.
